Common Lotus Emira Jobs
Clutch replacements
We have replaced Emira clutches at 9,000 and 15,000 miles. As on the Evora, the engine must come out to separate it from the gearbox.
O2 sensors
O2 sensors replaced and calibrated using our dealer diagnostic tool.
Power steering pumps
Worth monitoring: a leaking power steering pump can coat the rear undertrays and diffuser in fluid.
Software updates
Software updates carried out at our workshop using our dealer diagnostic tool.
Geometry
Geometry setup on our Logik 6 system, including preparing cars for European road trips.
Popular Emira upgrades include our valved exhaust backbox with valve controller, exhaust systems for the Mercedes-engined four-cylinder, quickshifts and intake kits. See them all on our Performance page.
Lotus Emira Questions
- Do you service the Mercedes-engined Emira?
- Yes. We service the Toyota V6 in manual and automatic form, and the Mercedes-engined four-cylinder. Prices for each are in the table above.
- Can you do Emira software updates?
- Yes. We carry out software updates and calibrations with our dealer diagnostic tool, for example after an O2 sensor replacement.
- What should I look out for on my Emira?
- Watch for power steering fluid leaks around the rear undertrays, and for any clutch slip or loss of drive. If you notice either, book the car in for a check.
