Performance Autocare is the data controller for any personal information you provide to us. You can contact us about your data by email at service@performance-autocare.co.uk, by phone on 01423 866391, or by post at Premium Point, St James Retail Park, Knaresborough, HG5 8PW.

We collect your name, contact details and vehicle registration data. We use this solely for service scheduling, maintenance records and MOT compliance. When you send an enquiry through our website, we receive the details you enter (your name, email address, phone number if given, vehicle and message) and use them to reply to you and arrange any work. We process data under the 'contractual necessity' and 'legitimate interests' bases of the UK GDPR, and we do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Contact form: enquiries are delivered to us by Web3Forms, a form-processing service. Analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors. Map: our About and Contact pages show an embedded Google Map. When it loads, Google may collect data and set cookies under its own privacy policy.

Personal data is stored securely and only shared with third-party service providers (e.g. DVSA, parts suppliers) when necessary to fulfil our service contract. The website services above are provided by Web3Forms, Vercel and Google, who may process data outside the UK under their own data protection terms.

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and then delete it securely.

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data. You may also object to processing or request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

All viewings and workshop visits are strictly by appointment. For security purposes, specific inventory is stored off-site. Performance Autocare maintains professional indemnity and public liability insurance for all vehicles in our custody.
